The Keynote Sisters are celebrating the release of their new album—Temporary by Design—with a 3rd annual hometown show at 20 Front Street.

Hailing from Lake Orion, MI, sisters Phoebe and Jaclyn have been bringing their signature knit-tight harmonies across the Midwest over the past decade. With themes of heartbreak, nostalgia, and new beginnings, their universally relatable writing builds the backbone of their work. Their stripped-back sound and quick-witted banter make you feel like you've been invited to their living room for an impromptu set.

In honor of their late grandmother Dr. May Ling Lie, the Keynote Sisters released their first CD of covers, Come What May, in 2016 with all proceeds benefiting the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund. The sisters followed up with an EP of original music, Rose Colored Glasses (2019), and single "Done and Damned," accompanied by their debut music video in 2021.
