Marisa Nahas is an alt-pop singer-songwriter and actor from Macomb, MI, now based in Brooklyn, NY. A graduate of Elon University’s Music Theatre program, she blends her theatrical background with emotionally driven, genre-bending pop. Her upcoming two-song project, Karmic Life Lessons, is set to release this fall, following her full-length album It All Led Me To You and EP Look at All the Lights.
Detroit-born singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Anthony Retka has been a staple of the Michigan music scene for over twenty years. He first made his mark fronting the indie band Tone & Niche before launching his solo career, releasing fan-favorite albums like Anthony Retka's Big Parade, Fields & Fortresses, and The In Between. Anthony has taken his music on the road all over the country, playing shows from New York and Nashville to Chicago and St. Louis. Known for his powerful vocals, acoustic guitar work, and down-to-earth storytelling, his live sets bring a warm, captivating, and
professional energy to every stage he plays.
Ayla Ottenbreit is a 19-year-old artist and songwriter pursuing her passion for music while working in the funeral industry. With a love for storytelling and meaningful songwriting, Ayla is beginning to carve out her own sound and identity as an artist. She has had the opportunity to collaborate and write alongside accomplished musicians Nick Piunti and Joe Daksiewicz, gaining invaluable experience throughout her musical journey. Ayla is excited to release her debut EP on August 25, 2026, marking a new chapter in her career as an emerging artist.
Steve Taylor graduated from Boston’s prestigious Berklee College of Music with a degree in Songwriting. After college, Steve returned home to Michigan and became a fixture in the Detroit music scene while earning a Master’s Degree in Music Theory from Wayne State University. Blending soulful music and intimate lyrics, Steve Taylor performs all over Michigan as a solo acoustic artist and with his band, The Steve Taylor Three. Their latest album “Temporary Heart” was released in 2024 all of their music is available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube, or wherever finer music is streamed. The band’s single, “Raining on Christmas”, won the Detroit Music Award for “Outstanding Country Recording” in 2023. “Temporary Heart” won the Michigan Music Award for Best American Album in 2025. In 2026 their Christmas album “Welcome to the Jingle” won “Best Americana Album” at the Michigan Music Awards and Steve was named “Songwriter of the Year”.
