


Carolyn Striho is a highly regarded Detroit songwriter, singer, performer, musician and poet whose songs are “from the silver edge of midnight” All Music Guide. From her early days in Detroit art rock/punk rock to her current soulful music, Carolyn’s alluring vocal delivery with a rock and roll folk and gypsy baroque is hypnotizing. Carolyn was on The Grammy Awards First Ballot again in 2025. She also has won eleven Detroit Music Awards. Carolyn’s performed on tour in the U.S., Italy, England and has performed with Patti Smith, Don Was, and with Iggy Pop, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Steve Earle, Sinead O’Connor, Tori Amos, Yoko Ono, also performing at London Meltdown U.K., Donne in Musica Rome Italy, in Japan, at Lollapalooza and more. Carolyn’s book “Detroit (Maiden Energy)” received critical acclaim. She and her guitarist/husband and their band recently released new music which received great airplay regionally and in the U.K.

Weaving styles from around the globe, Mikey Abbasspour creates a tapestry webbed with romantic boleros, classic tunes, and Celtic melodies. As a writer, Mikey draws from a worldly pool of influences and classical study to evoke wonders of nature and musical tales. As a songwriter, his influences include Bob Dylan, Fleet Foxes, and Wilco.
Singer-songwriter Emma Guzman has always felt the need to express herself through music. Through her years of humming melodies and frantically scribbling lyrics, she has quietly amassed a substantial collection of songs with a bittersweet blend of indie pop and folk music.

Steve Taylor graduated from Boston’s prestigious Berklee College of Music with a degree in Songwriting. After college, Steve returned home to Michigan and became a fixture in the Detroit music scene while earning a Master’s Degree in Music Theory from Wayne State University. Blending soulful music and intimate lyrics, Steve Taylor performs all over Michigan as a solo acoustic artist and with his band, The Steve Taylor Three. Their latest album “Temporary Heart” was released in 2024 all of their five albums is available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube, or wherever finer music is streamed. The band’s single, “Raining on Christmas”, won the Detroit Music Award for “Outstanding Country Recording” in 2023. “Temporary Heart” won the Michigan Music Award for Best American Album in 2025.
